There’s something fitness-related for everyone on your shopping list this holiday season – from techie gadgets to gift cards and, yep, socks! You can’t go wrong when you’re helping a loved one exercise.

 

Here are some of the sweetest treats I’m seeing this year.

 

  1. Fitness Tracker. These monitor heart rates, tally your steps, and even measure your sleep. They’re available with a range of options and at various price points, so you should be able to find just the right one.
  2. Wireless Earbuds. Really, how did we live without these little jewels?
  3. Pilates Mat. Even if your giftee doesn’t do Pilates, they’ll love having a fresh mat handy for floor exercises at home or while traveling.
  4. Gift Cards. Some people think this is “cheating,” while others say it makes sense. Hey, I never complain if it’s from a store I love!
  5. Fitness Classes or Subscriptions. These can be to brick-and-mortars or to online services.
  6. Massage Gun. There are models now small enough to fit in a purse, so relief is always handy!
  7. Meditation Apps. Headspace and Calm are among the popular options to help people start or improve their practice.
  8. Remember the Basics. You can’t go wrong with a water bottle or even exercise socks. Talk about the perfect stocking stuffers!
  9. Audible Subscription. “Reading” while exercising can be a fun way to multi-task.
  10. Lunch Together. Find a restaurant that specializes in a style of cooking that intrigues you – maybe a specific cuisine of a certain culture. You’ll probably pick up some cooking tips to try at home.
