At the end of each year we can’t help but look back on the good, the bad, and everything in between. And self-reflection is great.
But don’t stop there.
Pay it forward into the new year by being deliberately, mindfully grateful about all your blessings.
We all shared some of the difficulties of the last year. And I’m sure we each suffered our own individual losses and challenges. Neither reflection nor gratitude is meant to diminish any of those.
But when we look back, assess the moment, and appreciate the good things in our lives, then we can look ahead with a full heart and open eyes.
What we focus our energy and effort on expands. Meaning, the things you spend your time thinking about you create more of.
Even when it’s hard, remember that there are always amazing things going on in your world. There’s always something to be grateful for.
The secret to having more to express gratitude toward is consistently being grateful no matter what.
As Tony Robbins says, “Where focus goes, energy flows.”
Here’s to it!
