It’s a mistake to think it’s selfish to take care of yourself as your first priority in life. You must NOT confuse self-sacrifice with love and support.  You’ve heard over and over again that you have to take care of yourself in order to be the best you can be for others…but how often do you actually follow through with this?   If things in your life often seem to be falling down around you – disappointment in your relationship with your significant other, children who seem never to listen, frustrations at your job…this can all be connected to how you care for yourself.
Don’t believe me? I challenge you to prioritize your personal care for 30 days and see how everything in your life changes. You’ve got to be 100% dedicated to make this work though.   So, I need you to reply to me and tell me if you’re committed to showing up to all of your workouts for 30 days, for implementing our nutrition tips for 30 days, and to showing up for YOURSELF for 30 days the way you always do for others.
Showing up for yourself also includes taking time and simply slowing down. Maybe you say “No” the next time someone asks you to help with an activity. Maybe you give yourself 5-10 minutes per day just for you to relax and to be grateful for all the wonderful things in your life. Maybe you start a great sleep routine so that you’re well rested for everything happening in your life.
It’s time to take care of you, and we want to support you every step of the way.
